The assignment

Carry one note through a city that keeps interrupting you.

The useful direction is downhill. Everything else comes from walking, asking, listening and occasionally buying falafel for a cat.

  • Play timeRoughly fifteen minutes, plus the detours you choose.
  • ControlsThumb stick and two buttons on mobile. Keyboard works too.
  • PressureNo timer and no fail state. The city is enough.
  • SoundOriginal Jerusalem-mode music with spatial street ambience.

Field journalRoute notes, neighborhood stamps, city stories and optional side trails travel with you.

Before the gate

Choose who walks in. Set the cat situation.

Dov and Rivka reach different sides of the Kotel plaza. Cat density begins as a joke and becomes a small strategic commitment.

How the afternoon works

Wandering carries the game.

The main route stays legible while curiosity keeps opening side doors.

01

Ask your way east

Directions arrive attached to opinions, blessings, sales pitches and somebody’s cousin. Talking gets you closer while making the city larger.

02

Read the streets

Light changes under the shuk awnings. Stonework shifts between periods. The soundtrack and street ambience move with each district.

03

Keep the side trails

Torn map pieces, cold water, acts of kindness and blue-and-gold lore markers reward attention without turning Jerusalem into a checklist.

04

Arrive with what you chose

The game remembers the traveler, the people you helped and the cats behind you. Small choices shape the last quiet minutes.
